The Registrar's Office at NECI maintains the school's records of enrollment and academic standing. We work with students and alumni on transcript requests, enrollment and degree verifications, leave of absence requests, registration, loan deferment issues, graduation, degree requirements and other academic questions.
Student records are released only in accordance with the regulations of the Family Education Right Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. With the exception of directory information, requests from accrediting agencies, federal loan guaranty agencies, and others specified in the law, your written permission is required to release any part of your record. To protect your privacy, official transcripts requests must be made in writing and carry your signature.
Official transcripts are available to all students upon request and in accordance with the school’s policy. The transcript includes information on the student’s program of study, date of program entry, date of graduation, date of termination or withdrawal, and the clock or credit hours and grades earned. Official transcripts are validated with NECI’s seal, signature of the Registrar and date of issue. The transcripts may be obtained by writing the Registrar’s office. All requests must be in writing and must include a signature. Transcript requests should be mailed or faxed to the Registrar’s office.
There is a $15.00 fee for each transcript which must be included with the request. Transcripts will not be issued for alumni with unpaid accounts or for any student on financial probation or hold. Enrollment and Degree Verifications:
If you need proof of enrollment at NECI for insurance or other purposes, please download and complete our Enrollment Verification form. In order for us to release personal information about you, however, we need your permission in writing. Please email, mail, or fax us the request form with your signature, listing the name and address of the person to whom you would like the information released.
For those prospective employers not requiring a transcript, we would be happy to confirm the conferral and date of your degree.
