When and where is the graduation ceremony?

The June 2017 graduation ceremony will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at National Life in Montpelier, Vermont. Graduates need to arrive at 12:30 P.M. at National Life. There is parking available on-site.

Who is eligible to graduate?

Any student who has completed all degree requirements and has been cleared by the Office of the Registrar and Student Accounts.
Students whose last term ends by June 11, 2017  and July 2, 2017  ( Summer 1, 2017 term for online students and April 2017 term for residency-based programs) must be 100% complete in all courses and internships from the preceding semesters..To participate, all students are required to complete the Graduation Application.

What if I am participating in the ceremony and have limited mobility or special needs?

What can I expect on Commencement Day?

Students will need to arrive early (12:30 P.M.) to check in and  put on your chef's jacket (for all Culinary or Baking and Pastry graduates), or cap and gown (for all Food and Beverage Business Management graduates).

All Culinary and Baking and Pastry students must wear black shoes, black pants and a white t-shirt.   All FBBM graduates must wear dark trousers or skirt under the academic robe provided.

After the ceremony there will be a gala reception for students, family and friends.

What about tickets for guests?

Every student receives four complimentary tickets for their guests.
We are sorry, but due to occupancy limits, we are unable to accommodate requests for additional graduation tickets.
