  • At the second traffic light, turn left onto Bailey Avenue.
  • Turn right onto State Street.
  • Follow to the first traffic light at Main Street.
  • Continue straight through the light onto East State Street.
  • At the end of E. State St., turn left onto College Street.
  • Immediately turn right into the parking lot.
  • 56 College Street is located on the corner of East State Street and College Street, directly across the street from the parking lot.

  • Take I-89 to Exit 15.
  • Turn right onto Colchester Avenue. Proceed past St. Michael's College and Fanny Allen Hospital to Susie Wilson Road.
  • Turn left onto Susie Wilson Road.
  • Take Route 289 East to Exit 10.
  • Bear right onto Essex Way for 1/5 mile.
  • The Inn at Essex is on your left. Butler's and The Tavern are located inside the main entrance to the Inn.

From Burlington International Airport

  • As you leave the airport, turn left onto Airport Drive.
  • At the first light, turn right onto Williston Road (US Route 2 West).
  • Proceed to I-89 (North for Essex and South for Montpelier).
  • Follow directions above.
